For individual commercial transactions, separate quotations, invoices, purchase orders, sales contracts, or other written agreements may apply. Where there is a conflict, the specific written commercial agreement governing the transaction will take precedence.
1. About Betel.trade
Betel.trade operates as an Indonesian commodity trading and export business.
We connect international buyers with agricultural commodities sourced from Indonesia, including but not limited to:
- Areca Nut / Betel Nut
- Coconut Products
- Coffee
- Spices
- Other agricultural commodities
Product availability is subject to origin, season, harvest, quality, quantity, market conditions, and supplier availability.
2. Website Information
Information published on this website is provided for general commercial and informational purposes.
We make reasonable efforts to keep information accurate, but product details, availability, specifications, photographs, prices, shipping information, and other content may change without prior notice.
Nothing displayed on the website constitutes a binding offer unless expressly confirmed by Betel.trade in writing.

Agricultural commodities are natural products.
Accordingly, differences may occur between shipments or production batches due to factors including:

4. Quotations
Quotations issued by Betel.trade may include information such as:

- Quotation validity
Unless otherwise stated, quotations are subject to product availability, freight availability, currency fluctuations, market price changes, supplier confirmation, and export requirements.
A quotation does not constitute a final sales contract until the transaction is accepted and confirmed according to the agreed commercial process.
5. Prices
Commodity and freight prices may change rapidly.
Prices displayed or discussed before formal confirmation are indicative unless specifically stated otherwise.
The final price for a transaction will be stated in the applicable quotation, invoice, sales contract, or other written agreement.
6. Orders
An order becomes binding only when accepted by Betel.trade in accordance with the agreed transaction terms.
Depending on the transaction, acceptance may require:
- Signed quotation
- Purchase order
- Sales contract
- Proforma invoice acceptance
- Deposit or payment
- Written confirmation
Betel.trade reserves the right to decline an inquiry or order before final acceptance.
7. Product Specifications
Buyers are responsible for clearly communicating the specifications required for their market.
Specifications may include: Grade, Size, Moisture, Foreign matter, Appearance, Processing method, Packaging, Labeling, Shipping marks, and Quantity.
Final specifications should be agreed in writing before production, processing, packing, or shipment.
8. Samples
Samples may be made available for selected products. A sample represents the general characteristics of a product but does not necessarily guarantee that every unit in a commercial shipment will be identical.
Natural variations may occur in agricultural commodities. Shipping or courier costs for samples may be charged to the prospective buyer unless otherwise agreed.
9. Inspection
Inspection arrangements may be agreed before shipment. Depending on the transaction, inspection may include Photographs, Videos, Live video inspection, Buyer-appointed inspection, or Independent third-party inspection.
Where third-party inspection is requested, associated costs and the inspection standard should be agreed in advance. If goods are inspected and accepted before shipment, such inspection may form part of the agreed quality acceptance process.
10. Packaging
Packaging will be provided according to the specifications agreed for the transaction. Packaging options may vary according to Product, Quantity, Destination, Shipping method, Import requirements, and Buyer preference.
Customized packaging or private labeling may involve additional costs or minimum order quantities.
11. Payment
Payment terms will be stated in the applicable quotation, invoice, or sales agreement.
Betel.trade will never intentionally request that payment be made to an account not officially communicated through authorized Betel.trade channels.
Buyers are strongly encouraged to verify payment instructions before transferring funds, particularly if bank details appear to have changed.
Betel.trade is not responsible for payments made to fraudulent third parties as a result of compromised buyer systems, impersonation, phishing, or unauthorized communication outside our control.
12. Shipping and Incoterms
Transactions may use internationally recognized Incoterms such as EXW, FOB, CFR, CIF.
The applicable Incoterm and named destination or port will be specified in the commercial agreement.
Unless otherwise agreed, responsibilities, risks, and costs associated with shipment will be interpreted according to the applicable version of the Incoterms rules referenced in the transaction.
13. Shipment Dates
Shipment dates or schedules provided before shipment are estimates unless specifically guaranteed in writing.
Delays may occur due to weather, harvest delays, supplier delays, port congestion, vessel schedule changes, container shortages, customs procedures, government restrictions, documentation processing, natural disasters, transportation disruption, or other circumstances beyond reasonable control. Betel.trade will make reasonable efforts to communicate significant known delays.
14. Import Requirements
The buyer is responsible for determining whether the goods may legally be imported, distributed, processed, or sold within the destination country.
Unless specifically agreed otherwise, the buyer is responsible for: Import licenses, Import permits, Destination customs clearance, Import duties, Local taxes, Product registrations, Local labeling requirements, and Local regulatory compliance.
Buyers should verify applicable requirements before placing an order.
15. Export Documentation
Depending on the product and transaction, documents may include Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading, Certificate of Origin, Phytosanitary Certificate, Fumigation Certificate, and other agreed export documents.
Specific documentation requirements must be communicated before shipment. Additional documents not included in the original quotation may involve additional charges.
16. Claims
Any claim concerning product quantity, condition, packaging, or specification should be submitted promptly after receipt of the goods and within any claim period stated in the applicable commercial agreement.
Claims should include sufficient supporting evidence, which may include: Photographs, Video, Inspection report, Weighing records, Survey report, Shipping documents.
Betel.trade reserves the right to investigate any claim before accepting liability or proposing a resolution.
17. Force Majeure
Betel.trade will not be liable for failure or delay caused by circumstances reasonably beyond our control, including natural disasters, flood, fire, earthquake, war, civil unrest, government action, export/import restrictions, epidemics or pandemics, port closure, transportation disruption, shipping cancellation, labor disputes, severe weather, power or telecommunications failures.
Where reasonably possible, affected parties will be informed of material delays.
18. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, website content belonging to Betel.trade, including Text, Brand elements, Logos, Graphics, Website layout, Original photographs, Marketing materials, may not be reproduced, republished, distributed, or commercially used without prior permission.
The Betel.trade name and associated branding may not be used in a manner that falsely suggests affiliation, endorsement, or authorization.
19. Prohibited Use
You may not use this website for unlawful purposes, to submit fraudulent inquiries, to impersonate another person or company, to interfere with website security, to distribute malicious software, to scrape or reproduce substantial website content without authorization, or to attempt unauthorized access to systems associated with Betel.trade.

21. Limitation of Liability

Commercial liability relating to an individual transaction will be governed by the specific terms agreed between Betel.trade and the buyer. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
22. Indemnification
Users agree not to hold Betel.trade responsible for losses resulting from misuse of the website, violation of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or violation of applicable law by the user.
23. Governing Law
These website Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
Commercial transactions may contain separate governing-law or dispute-resolution provisions agreed between Betel.trade and the buyer.
24. Changes to These Terms
Betel.trade may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Updated Terms will become effective when published on this website unless otherwise stated.
